TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SIMPLY RELAXING

1..Appointments
Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your treatment.  Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time. The treatment will be charged for a full treatment.  Please keep me informed on changes to medication, pregnancy, allergies, illness injury.

2..Cancellations or missed appointments
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment please let us know as soon as possible, if you need to cancel or rearrange within 24 hours of your appointment, please ring 01606 550773 and NOT by email.  Please keep me informed if you are having problems keeping your appointment as missed appointments cost the salon and also prevent another customer from taking your place. If you fail to attend on three occasions without a reasonable explanation we reserve the right to either charge a deposit or indeed refuse to accept your booking, this is not what we want to happen. To keep you covid safe, I have to leave a ventilation gap between appointments. Recently, too many customers have failed to come for their appointments even though I send a reminder/covid appliance email, text, or message which is causing lots of issues. So from now on, if you fail to let me know you cannot make your appointment or give me less than 24 hours’ notice, I reserve the right to charge you at least 50% of the cost of the appointment. I am so sorry that i have to do this but it has got to the point that I have to.

3.. Children
We are happy for you to bring your children to your appointment but they must be kept in control as there are hazardous chemicals within the shop and salon. However to comply with the Health & Safety regulations, we must ask that you keep your children with you, it is your responsibility for their behaviour and safety. We are not able totreat under 16yr old for insurance reasons. We will not sell an item to children that are or look under 16yr as old unless with an adult.

4..Courses
All treatment courses must be paid in full prior to the commencement of your course and must be used within12 months. Missed appointments may result in reduction in treatments off your course

5..Deposits
We reserve the right to request to charge a deposit in order to secure an appointment. Any changes to the appointment must be made in accordance with the cancellation policy.

6..Gift vouchers – as of 24th July 2022 we will no longer issue gift vouchers, however …

we are offering you the opportunity to pay for someone special to have a treatment with us, you will be asked to book them in for their gift at the time of payment, we are happy for the recipient torearrange their treatment as long as it is within one month of your payment.  We are happy for the recipient to exchange the treatment as long as it is the minimum of amount paid. Anyone with an existing Gift voucher, still with a valid date, can still use the voucher, they are non-refundable and must be produced at the time of your treatment/purchase.  Vouchers are valid for 6 months  from the date of purchase. We are happy to exchange your voucher for the amount paid so that you can choose to use your gift voucher for a different treatment or purchase but we will be able to give you the cash difference if not all the voucher amount is used, however, we will mark yourvoucher with how much has been used, date of treatment and value of remaining balance.  You must use the balance within the valid date stated on the voucher.  Please keep the voucher safe as we cannot issue duplicates. Gift vouchers are non- transferable to another person to use against treatments.

  Please ensure you find your vouchers and use them!!

7..Receipts
We can issue a full detailed receipt on request for the treatments or products you have paid for.  The receipt must be before the treatment amount and for the person who had the receipt. We are unable to address the receipt to someoneelse or for a different treatment.

8..Mobile phones,  tablets etc
We want you to completely relax and enjoy your treatment so we ask that you turn your phone etc to silent unless there is a need for you to keep your phone on.

9.. Prices

We reserve the right to change our prices without notice.  E&OE

10.. Special offers
We reserve the right to end a promotion or promotional price of a treatment or product without notice

11..Refunds and exchanges
Products must be returned unused, unopened with their seal intact and in the same condition as when they were purchased from Simply Relaxing. We will not exchange or refund an item which has been used unless faulty,in this instance, the item must be returned within 7 days This does not affect your statutory rights.

12.. Privacy policy

On the 25th May 2018, new GDPR laws come into effect and Simply Relaxing will adhere to the new rules. Any written information given before, during or after a treatment is kept securely for a period of 6 years, after that time it is securely shredded by a commercial company.If you pay via our website, we use Paypal. If you would like to read their Privacy Policy please follow www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full We are fully compliant with the requirements of PCI DSS to take take payments via a card machine in the salon, shop telephone.  We commercially shred the printed receipt and do not store your card details.We will never disclose personal information given during a treatment consultation, purchase details in our shop or information given online.  We never share personal information from our social media, website and do not store payment information within the business, we send payment slips to a commercial shredding company. We take every step to reduce the risk of using information via the Web. If you would like to discuss our Privacy Policy, kindly contact us and we will answer any of your questions.COVID-19

It is your responsibility to inform Simply Relaxing if you are showing signs of Covid, we will contact you the day before to ask and please be honest.  We can easily rearrange your appointment

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU HAVE A TREATMENT:

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding If you are on new medication or have a new allergy/intolerance If you have recently had an operation or are undergoing cancer treatment Anything that would affect your treatment with me.  I keep everything strictly confidential.

REFUSAL TO ACCEPT YOUR APPOINTMENT

I love to see everyone of you and really appreciate your support, sadly just recently i have had a couple of customers who have not treated me with the respect and care that I, hopefully, show you.  Therefore I reserve the right to refuse to accept an appointment without giving a reason.  I will not accept abuse or unacceptable behaviour.
